Ahead of the 2019 presidential election, Fela Durotoye emerges as Alliance For New Nigeria (ANN) presidential flag bearer. A coalition of political parties under the umbrella of Presidential Aspirants Coming Together (PACT) has unanimously elected Fela Durotoye as their candidate. Report has it that Fela Durotoye, Kingsley Moghalu and Yele Sowore formed the PACT coalition on July 31st 2018. The 47-year-old presidential aspirant announced his nomination in a statement on his Instagram page. Durotoye will be running under the umbrella of Alliance for New Nigeria. Scott Morrison, the new prime minister of Australia, brings something extra to the country's highest position—his Christian faith. Morrison, who had previously been the country's treasurer, was sworn in Friday as Australia's sixth prime minister in 11 years after a political rift among conservative lawmakers led to the ouster of Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. The New York Times reports that Morrison, 50, is the first evangelical Christian to become prime minister and that church has always been a part of his life.
