The Purpose Of Marriage; The Hard Truth Untold

If you are asking many people why they are getting married or the purpose of marriage, they don't know. Some believed it is because of s*x or child bearing e.t.c. It is capital NO.

Although is part of it but the major purpose of marriage can be seen in the book of Genesis 2:18 "And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

So, it is not really because of sex or children bearing, after all Adam and Eve did not know they were naked until they disobeyed the commandment of God.
The purpose of God for your marriage is for you to have somebody beside you (who will always be there for you when things are good or bad) as a helper, companionship, Counselor, adviser, confidant etc. Until we discover this purpose of God for our marriage before we can enjoy our marriage. Some couples are like cat and rat, they have no time to sit together and plan for the progress of their family.

If you fall to this category, you better change today and see your spouse as part of your flesh so that you can enjoy your home. Bible says in Gen. 2:23-24 "The man said, "This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man." For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be. joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh" God want us to be at peace with our everybody especially our partner so that we can have time to serve him and He can also dwell with us. In a situation where there is no peace between husband and
wife , How do you think the presence of God can be there?
