The presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, TREM, Dr Mike Okonkwo has said ex-President, Gooodluck Ebele Jonathan was operating under a spell during the ex-President past administration that men of God failed to deliver him from the spell. Dr mike during an interview said "I admire ex-President Jonathan so much, but he didn’t have the gut to fight corruption. I will also blame the men of God. I will say the men of God, failed Jonathan. Because Jonathan was operating like somebody under some spell and we (the men of God) had the responsibility of taken him out of the spell, pray with him even for three days and whatever was holding him would have been removed. But we did not do that. Probably, he had the intention of doing the right thing but forces were against him and don’t forget he was not a matured Christian. We would have taken him out and probably we would not be in this mess today.
The Founder of the Deeper Life Bible Church has made an alarming assertion about his church members who continue to commit sins. Pastor Kumuyi who is the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry said on judgment day, hell will be hotter for members of the church who are sinners. According to him, this is because the Deeper Life sinners have heard enough of the word of God but still refused to repent from their bad ways. Preaching on the topic, “Heaven’s Response to Earth’s Request,” in Lagos, Kumuyi said several people who attended Deeper Life Bible Church’s services have refused to repent of their sins. “Hell will be hotter for Deeper Life sinners because they know the truth and do not do them.
